What You Will Do
- Assigning available staff to projects based on their skills and experience, project needs and priorities set by the delivery leadership
- Evaluating hiring needs in accordance with upcoming projects and project budgets
- Providing project managers with ongoing resource management and related support
- Monitoring and analysis of employee utilisation, workload, overtime hours and other key metrics
- Mitigating resource concerns by reallocating resources, adjusting goals, or assigning additional staff
- Collaborating on resource management with other internal departments
- Maintain a database of current and potential technical staff and their skills and expertise
- Work with senior management to develop and implement policies and procedures regarding resource management, including staff utilisation rates, forecasting, and budgeting
- Develop and maintain relationships with outside technical vendors and service providers to supplement our in-house staff resources
- Create metrics and reporting for our resources
- Keeping informed on current trends in resource management
What We Need
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of overall experience, majority of which are doing resource management, preferably in B2B SaaS or enterprise software industry
- Experience in resourcing for large-scale software implementations and client deliveries, preferably hands-on project management experience
- Strong project, resource management and budgeting skills
- Proficient in using resource management software, CRM, analytical tools, and project management software (e.g., JIRA, Meisterplan, Trello)
- Knowledgeable of current technology market and economic trends
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle, SaaS and IT project implementation
- Familiarity with financial and market analysis and reporting
- Knowledgeable in hiring, onboarding, and training processes
- Resource Management Certified Professional (RMCP) is a plus!
