As the economy tightens up, companies are looking to get a deeper control over every aspect of their company finances: from digitizing petty cash spend, to centralizing control on corporate cards, to getting deep control over all company spending overall.
Pluto helps companies of sizes 500+ optimize their financial workflows. We are post-revenue, work with companies like UDrive, Huspy, Orient Travel and many others.
We are a group of founders & operators who have previously contributed towards many other fintechs in places like Google, Uber, Shopify, Cash App, PayPal and more.
About the role
We are a small team, but if you have heard of spend management - you have likely heard of Pluto. That is to say we have a strong brand & our customers love our product. But it's time for us to grow rapidly and to do so we are looking for a marketer to join our team who is tactical, can do more with less & has a playbook in growing B2B SaaS businesses.
While at the beginning you will be expected to not only strategize our go to market approach, but also execute on it. This means we expect you to roll up your sleeves & execute on what is needed to be done. As you progress at your role, you will have the opportunity to grow your team and expand Pluto's marketing team.
You have two KPIs: top-of-funnel acquisition channel growth & impression to conversion ratio.
Requirements:
About you
- This is not your first time: you have grown the marketing practice from a small team to an operation that helps drive revenue.
- Strategy vs. Tactical - 40% vs. 60%:
- What we are not looking for: someone who will craft strategies but fail to execute themselves without outside help.
- What we are looking for: you can pull your own weight as an independent contributor i.e. you can copywrite, design & do but you also have the strategic chops to know when to seek outside help.
- Metrics Driven & Technical chops:
- SEO, Paid Search, Paid Socials, Attribution & retargeting are things you are well familiar with.
- Process-oriented: you understand that growth is not just tactics, but process. You ideate, prioritize, test, analyze and create processes to unlock new business.
- Comfortable with being an owner: you and your team will be made solely responsible building and opening clean acquisition channels. You will build the playbook that will help drive Pluto's inbound and you are confident being able to execute on this, timely.
- Ambition, grit & comfortable with the grind that comes with being part of a startup. We can't guarantee this will be easy.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience
- B2B SaaS experience a huge plus
