We are seeking an experienced and strategic VP of Marketing to lead our high-performing marketing team. This role requires a seasoned marketing generalist with a proven track record in leadership and management, who has successfully scaled marketing operations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a VP of Marketing or a similar executive role in a successful Series A-C startup, overseeing key functions such as demand generation, brand design and awareness, product marketing, developer marketing, and event marketing. This individual will drive strategic growth and work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Product teams. Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP Marketing will sit on the executive team driving strategic growth across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with company goals.
- Lead and manage a strong team across demand generation, brand design, product marketing, developer marketing, and events.
- Collaborate with Sales and Operations to optimize go-to-market strategies and pipeline growth.
- Oversee brand positioning and messaging to ensure consistency and impact.
- Monitor marketing performance, analytics, and ROI to refine strategies.
- Drive innovation and new initiatives in customer acquisition and engagement.
- Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
Key Qualifications
- 10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3-5 years in a VP or senior leadership role, preferably including experience at a successful Series A-C startup.
- Proven success in leading and scaling a high-performing marketing team.
- Strong generalist background with expertise across multiple marketing functions.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong collaboration skills with Sales, Operations, and Product teams.
- Experience in both B2B and B2C marketing environments preferred.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in analytics and performance tracking.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and team development skills.
Compensation Range
$200k+ For cash compensation, we set standard ranges for all US based roles based on function, level and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location.
