We are seeking an exceptional Vice President of AI Community (Software Development) to work closely with our Lead Architect and Scrum Master in leading our team in building an AI community platform for sharing and distributing AI models that leverages our proprietary distributed compute and storage technology. The ideal candidate should be on the forefront of AI industry, models, and trends, and be an active software developer in the space.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development of an AI community platform for sharing and distributing AI models that leverages our priority distributed compute and storage technology.
Collaborate with our Lead Architect and Scrum Master to ensure the AI community platform is developed with scalability, reliability, and maintainability in mind.
Develop and implement the technology strategy and roadmap for the AI community platform.
Manage a team of developers and engineers, ensuring that they have the tools and resources needed to build and deliver high-quality software.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the AI community platform is integrated with other products and services.
Build relationships with the AI community, answer questions, and provide guidance to users.
Stay up to date with the latest AI technologies, trends, and best practices.
Actively participate in software development tasks alongside the development team.
Requirements:
10+ years of software development experience, with 5+ years in a leadership position (Flexible based on next point).
A proven track record of contributing to the cutting edge of the AI industry.
Extensive knowledge of Python and Javascript.
Experience working with TensorFlow.js.
Experience building multiple AI models.
Experience building community platforms or similar web applications.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Willingness to roll up their sleeves and work as an active developer.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
