Overview
As Sr Director of People and Operations, youâll oversee our People Operations and Business initiatives in Asia. This means caring for our team (including ensuring their personal/professional growth, engagement, performance, continued education, work happiness, and compensation and benefits remain best-in-class), managing facilities and vendor relationships, keeping us current on HR-related compliance and legal requirements, smoothly scaling a deeply multicultural org, partnering with our COO and US-based Sr Director of People and Operations to create a unified global policies, and more.

Responsibilities
- Owning People- and Business-related initiatives (e.g., onboarding, offboarding, PEO/payroll/benefits, training, legal as it relates to HR, compliance, performance reviews, local facilities management, vendor relationships, events, miscellaneous operational tasks)
- Designing, improving, and facilitating professional development processes (e.g., performance reviews, leveling, compensation adjustments)
- Spearheading organizational design, including assisting with headcount planning, leadership development, employee engagement/retention, and change management
- Investigating and resolving employee concerns in partnership with other leaders, with tact and compassion
- Keeping Dragonfly current on HR-related regulations, best practices, and trends
- Engaging and onboarding external consultants and vendors for global and Asia-specific matters
- Overseeing management of facilities and our Asian offices
- Acting as a consultant to other internal leaders
- Managing a small BizOps/PeopleOps team
- Owning relevant company documentation, handbooks, etc
- Safeguarding a deeply diverse, high-ownership culture as we scale globally
- Supervise the completion of miscellaneous BizOps tasks, such as events, conferences, merchandise, etc
Requirements
- 5+ years of highly autonomous PeopleOps leadership experience, ideally including high-growth, early-to-mid-stage startups or funds (from ~10-150+ people)
- Strong understanding of Singaporean and Asian HR practices and policies, as well as local laws
- Exceptional prioritization, delegation, accountability, and communication skills
- Opinionated â but flexible â management philosophy and frameworks
- Ability to handle multiple tasks reliably in a fast-moving environment, with a âno challenge too big or too smallâ attitude
- High level understanding of taxes, insurance management, immigration, and administrative business needs Low ego, cultural and emotional sensibilities, and the ability to work effectively with diverse personality types internationally
- Deep resourcefulness, and comfort navigating ambiguity and sensitive/confidential issues
- Located in Singapore and able to work from our local office
- Interest in cryptocurrency and blockchain
