With Select Star, you can find out where your data is coming from, which dashboards are built on top of it, who is using the data, and how they are using it.

You will help maintain and scale Select Star’s infrastructure to support our growing customer base and feature set. You will help triage issues as well as improve the overall performance and reliability of our infrastructure.
What you’ll do:

Support and maintain our the infrastructure of Select Star’s core applications

Improve scalability, performance and stability of our infrastructure

Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure future application changes and new features are rolled out successfully

Develop monitoring solutions to provide greater visibility into the performance and reliability of our cloud environment

Contribute to the overall engineering team to ensure objectives are achieved and support others as necessary

Keep our CI/CD process up to date
Who you are:

5+ years of experience, with at least 3+ years Dev Ops experience

Strong understanding and experience managing cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS, Terraform and Kubernetes

Understanding and hands-on experience with Python, Django, Celery, Redis, GitHub Actions, databases, distributed systems, and microservices

Self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to distill complex requirements into simplified solutions

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and independently, you have a strong sense of ownership and urgency

Prior early-stage startup experience is a plus
