As Software/Systems engineer, you'll drive innovation in Digital Engineering through research, proposal writing, and addressing R&D challenges. Your expertise will contribute to reliable solutions, platform stability, and continuous improvement, ensuring our organization remains at the forefront of the industry.
Responsabilities
- Write proposals, conduct research, and report on conclusions for R&D projects
- Design and develop software systems to address Digital Engineering challenges and opportunities
- Analyze and translate customer requirements into system specifications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring the highest level of system availability and stability
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our platform remains current and competitive
Requirements
- Strong understanding and practice of DevSecOps principles
- Experience developing high-quality software designs and architectures for APIs, web apps, front-end, and back-end development
- Ability to work closely with the software team to ensure software designs and implementations meet security requirements
- Proficient in identifying, prioritizing, and executing tasks in the software development life cycle
- Experience developing tools and applications using clean and efficient code
- Skilled in automating tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
- Expertise in code review, debugging, validation, and verification testing
- Ability to keep software up-to-date with the latest technologies and document software designs
- Strong problem-solving and general leadership capabilities
- Experience providing mentorship to team members, particularly in areas of AF acquisition
- Ability to work with the team to understand customer needs and translate them into use cases, POCs, and MVPs
- Excellent collaboration and coordination skills with both internal and external teams to resolve issues and troubleshoot problems
- Eagerness to stay current with changing technology and suggest methods to optimize development and implementation performance
- Ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations
- Optional: Familiarity with CAD and Simulation tools
