We’re looking for an experienced SEO Strategist to lead and execute our SEO initiatives, improve our organic search rankings, and ensure our content meets the needs of our audience while aligning with SEO best practices.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive strategist with a strong technical background, a keen understanding of search intent, and an ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
In this role, you’ll focus on merging overlapping content to prevent ranking cannibalization by conducting an in-depth content audit, creating detailed content briefs for our writers, and developing a comprehensive strategy to expand our organic reach. This position offers the chance to significantly impact our search visibility and contribute to a growing brand in the enterprise Linux and cybersecurity space.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth content audits to assess performance, identify gaps, and optimize content for search intent and SEO goals.
- Develop and refine SEO strategies to boost organic traffic, improve rankings, and support lead generation.
- Merge overlapping content to prevent ranking cannibalization, ensuring optimized primary keywords across TuxCare’s portfolio.
- Create SEO-focused content briefs with targeted keywords, structure, and on-page elements for writers.
- Perform technical SEO audits to optimize site structure, speed, crawlability, and mobile usability.
- Monitor and report SEO performance, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of SEO strategy experience, preferably in technology or cybersecurity.
- Proficiency in technical SEO, on-page optimization, and content strategy.
- Experience with SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz).
- Skilled in creating SEO content briefs and guiding writers on optimized content.
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with HTML/CSS basics and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
