Position: Senior Talent Acquisition Partner/Senior Recruiting Partner
Location: Flexible, HQ-based, home-based, or hybrid (SF Bay area, San Diego, Boston, or Munich)
About The Job
We are seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner/Senior Recruiting Partner to join our Global TA COE team. This critical TA Partner will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to help us achieve our mission. This position will work closely with our hiring managers & leaders to develop and execute recruiting strategies that align with our business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead group-wide high-level talent acquisition efforts to meet the requirements of group management.
- Collaborate closely with the business development team to identify new opportunities, including industry and talent mapping, as well as managing the full cycle of key talent acquisition.
- Partner with the head of the new business/institute to build a high-performing team from scratch for the incubation or start-up projects.
- Strengthen the talent acquisition team's capabilities through coaching and mentoring.
- Collaborate with hiring managers & leaders to understand their hiring needs and develop job descriptions that accurately reflect the qualifications and responsibilities of each role.
- Utilize a variety of sourcing techniques to identify and attract top talent, including job boards, social media, referrals, external recruitment agency partners, and networking events.
- Conduct initial phone screens and assessments to evaluate candidates' qualifications and fit for the open positions and our company culture.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and assist in the preparation and debriefing process.
- Facilitate the offer process and work with hiring managers to negotiate and close offers.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline to support future hiring needs.
- Continuously evaluate and improve our recruiting processes and strategies to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- At least eight years of experience in the diagnostic/life science/biotech industry with a background in HR, talent acquisition, or recruiting.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems and other recruiting tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient in full-cycle recruitment, particularly with a solid knowledge of the industry talent market and strong relationships with top talent.
- Demonstrated success in identifying and attracting top talent.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to make a meaningful impact on management decisions.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with local labor laws and regulations.
- Demonstrated curiosity in people and a passion for the industry.
- Strong execution skills, results-oriented, and action-driven.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
