We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Senior Security Engineer with well knowledge of modern security approaches to join our team. If you have a passion for security, enjoy solving complex security challenges, and have experience in securing cloud-based infrastructure and operations, we would love to hear from you.
- Keep up to date with emerging security threats, trends and technologies to recommend appropriate solutions and controls.
- Design, implement and manage security controls and processes to protect our infrastructure, systems, and data in a Google Cloud environment.
- Monitor, investigate and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities and threats.
- Conduct security assessments and penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align security requirements with business goals and drive security best practices across the organization.
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations and customer requirements.
- Lead security audits and compliance assessments to ensure that our systems meet relevant standards and regulations.
- Mentor and train other security engineers and DevOps team members on security best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in information security, preferably in a cloud-based environment.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing security controls and processes to protect infrastructure and systems in Google Cloud environment.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security concepts, tools, and technologies, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), VPN, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), and Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR).
- Well understanding of DevSecOps approach
- Well understanding and ability to design and adopt WAF solutions in the cloud environment
- Experience in conducting security assessments, penetration testing, and incident response.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Ability to enable and execute security features without business interruption
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
