The website is a product that serves both our customers’ and business’ needs and we’re looking for someone to join the team and be the champion for it!

This person will act as the filter for all requests from stakeholders inside and outside of marketing to develop and prioritize a quarterly and annual roadmap that includes A/B testing and optimizations to ensure the website is meeting our business goals (trial sign ups and conversions to paying customers).

Reporting to the Senior Director of Growth Marketing you will work with a team of dotted lined front-end developers to execute on the roadmap, ensure tracking and analytics is available to make informed decisions and to share key metrics with stakeholders, that the website is properly integrated with our go-to-market technology stack, and most importantly that the website is serving the needs of our customers.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop, prioritize and maintain the product roadmap for the Marketing website and its properties (which includes the product sign up flow)
  • Define requirements and work with designers, front-end web developers, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities, prioritize them, ideate on solutions, scope, test, and implement
  • Prioritize the work for the team of front-end web developers that dotted line into the Growth Marketing organization
  • Take the messaging ‘ingredients’ provided by the Product Marketing team to create a user experience on the Marketing website that is optimized for conversions (Tier 1 leads and trial sign ups)
  • Own the conversion rate optimization and A/B testing strategy
  • Become the product owner of our Web Analytics and optimization tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Hotjar, Heap etc)
  • Act as the Marketing stakeholder for all other tools that integrate into the website
  • Work with the content, developer advocate and product marketing teams to develop a content strategy to move website visitors through the ideal user journey

A little bit about you

You put the customer first in everything you do and strive to make them successful. You are data driven, but not data dependent, and combine metrics with anecdotal data to make informed decisions. You understand developers and know what resonates with them. You see the big picture and know that the website is one piece of the user journey, and strive to understand and connect the other pieces together. You aren’t afraid to speak up and identify problem areas or share your ideas, and you want to be a part of the solution! You thrive in a bold startup environment and can balance competing priorities with ease 🙌.

Must Haves:

  • 7+ years of proven experience leading engineers, creating and executing on roadmaps in a B2B SaaS product management role
  • Experience building and measuring user journey flows that move a user through the desired path (either in product or on a website)
  • Have experience with A/B tests and the tools needed to support and measure them
  • Previous focus on conversion rate optimization (CRO)
  • Understand statistical significance, know what data you need and how to get it to measure the impact of tests
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with users, engineers, designers, and internal stakeholders
  • Can effectively uncover pain points, problems, and desires of users, prospects, and customers through interviews
  • Want to build something from the ground up
  • Are intrinsically motivated, able to self-manage work and deadlines
  • A self-starter who enjoys working in a dynamic, collaborative, and high-growth environment

Nice to Haves:

  • Have direct experience with a web analytics tool such as Google Analytics to understand website health, optimization/testing outcomes
  • Experience messaging to customers and clearly demonstrating the value your product offers to encourage them to take specific actions via digital communications
  • Experience optimizing user journeys towards customer lifetime value
