Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Design and develop custom ingestion pipelines, with an initial focus on integrating aggregate Call Detail Records to accurately measure usage per eSIM / userIdentify areas for process optimization within data engineering workflows and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reliabilityOrchestrate and monitor data pipelines to ensure seamless data flowManage and optimize data warehouse performance, ensuring fast and reliable data accessImplement and enforce data governance and security policies to ensure data integrity, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulationsStay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies, recommending new techniques and tools to keep us ahead of the curve,Must-haves:
4+ years of hands-on work with modern warehousing solutions like Snowflake or BigQueryTrack record of building and automating robust, scalable data pipelinesDeep understanding of data architecture, data governance and data securityFamiliarity with orchestrators such as Airflow, Prefect or Mage.AI Expert knowledge of SQL and SparkProficiency with at least one language out of Python / Scala / JavaWorking knowledge of Docker, Git and the command lineClear and direct communication skills about complex, technical topicsA natural passion for structure and efficiency, with excellent attention to detail,Good to Have:
