Backflip is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Analyst to join our team. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, generating valuable insights, and providing data-driven recommendations to support strategic decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate findings effectively.

This is a rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor (~60 person team) working directly with executives in a fast-paced and well-capitalized startup (Series A).

*The Compensation figure above includes Base Salary + Performance Bonus, and is based on a variety of factors including prior experience. What You’ll Do:

Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and key insights

Develop and maintain company-wide reporting

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide analytical support

Prepare and present reports, visualizations, and dashboards to communicate findings

Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to data-driven decision-making

This role will evolve as the company grows; there will be various tasks that fall outside of the responsibilities above.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in related field and 5+ years of relevant experience

Proven experience as an analyst, preferably in a startup environment

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and presentation abilities

Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment

Expert proficiency in SQL and at least one visualization framework

Proficiency in git/github

Proficiency in Python

Startup experience is a plus
