We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing organization. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the accounting functions for the company and will report directly to the Head of Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the monthly and quarterly close process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial statements
Prepare and analyze financial reports for management and stakeholders, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulations, including DCAA
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and audits
Continuously identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting processes
Qualifications:
US Citizenship Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
CPA certification preferred
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
Experience in a SaaS or technology company preferred
Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
Knowledge of DCAA reporting requirements a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
