What you will do

Timescale is hiring a Revenue Operations Analyst to support our growth acceleration in partnership with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing. You would be responsible for delivering sales and customer data to identify growth drivers of the organization through thoughtful models, dashboards, and reporting packages. This role is a multiplier function for the revenue team, ensuring that the team is optimized and running efficiently. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary business contact to proactively address cross-functional team's challenges related to systems, data, and tooling gaps.
  • Conduct Sales and Marketing reporting for Sales Closed vs. Targets, Forecasts, and Pipeline generation based on the plan. 
  • Ensure measures are in place to keep data as up-to-date and complete as possible. This includes integrations across systems, audit reports to identify when data is 'off'’, validation in systems to ensure users add the correct data
  • Administration of Salesforce, Outreach, Hubspot, and other tools in our GTM tech stack. 
  • Own the tracking, reporting, and management of sales performance metrics and manage the performance analysis/metrics of the sales organization using reports, dashboards, and reporting tools
  • Establish and enforce SOPs for the sales pipeline to ensure efficient and effective progression of opportunities.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in go-to-market data analytics at a SaaS company
  • Salesforce experience building flows, using process builder/other automation, building complex dashboards, reports, and custom report types, adjusting user permissions/ page layouts, etc. (Salesforce Certification not required, but a plus)
  • Experience maintaining integrations of GTM systems such as Salesforce, Gainsight, MixMax, Outreach, Marketo, etc.
  • Advanced proficiency of and experience completing the complex analysis in Excel and/or BI tools with the ability to use SQL to manipulate data and an eagerness to continue developing these skills (Grafana experience is a big plus!)
  • Ability to understand, manipulate and translate large data sets with a high degree of independence
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets capabilities include but are not limited to advanced formulas (Nested if statements, Lookups, Sum/Countifs), data analysis, and visualization.
  • Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
  • Proactive / Self-starter with strong project management skills who can execute with high-level guidance and minimal supervision
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Business, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field
