QA Engineer

About the Role
This year, we are focused on building a consolidated insurance revenue cycle management platform that brings together disparate workflows into our single app. As a QA engineer, you will be responsible for the quality of the new platform. Your mission will be to enable the engineering team to release fast and stress-free. You will be given all the tools and freedom to succeed. The quality of our app sets us apart from traditional healthcare software that usually delivers a frustrating UX and much confusion. We need you to maintain our high quality and constantly improve it.



Tech stack
  • Zephyr, Cypress, Typescript, Gherkin, Docker, GitHub Actions, and any tools of your choice.



Responsibilities
  • Define and document test cases for the new features (5-10% of your time)
  • Execute manual test cases that are not automated yet (10-15% of your time)
  • Automate manual test cases using cypress and typescript (35% of your time)
  • Maintain existing autotests (15% of your time)
  • Troubleshoot customer issues and provide support to non-technical teammates



Qualifications
  • Experience designing test cases in Gherkin notation
  • 2-3 years of end-to-end testing automation experience
  • Experience with cypress, typescript, and github actions
  • Patience and persistence in learning a complex business domain that consists of entities that regular people never encounter in their life
  • Ability to push forward and focus on important tasks without being distracted by minor issues
  • Availability online 14:00-16:30 UTC
