Job Summary:
We are seeking a People Operations Manager to support our globally distributed remote team. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee entire People Operations, from onboarding to off-boarding.
- Manage payroll, token administration, expense, contract management, HR vendors (EoR, work permits, visas), compliance, benefits, employee data, reporting, and HR systems.
- Take full ownership of HR policies and processes, continually refining workflows and automation.
- Stay informed on employment law and HR compliance to ensure Scroll’s HR processes are up-to-date for our globally distributed teams.
- Act as the first point of contact for team members, addressing and supporting their needs.
- Organize and support People programs, team events, and offsites to foster a positive, engaging work environment.
- Collaborate with the People Lead and HRBP Lead to identify and deliver HR projects to enhance the employee experience.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in People Operations within a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in both Chinese and English to effectively communicate with employees globally.
- Experience in dynamic industries like blockchain, deep tech, or global remote startups.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Comfortable using various tech platforms, with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
- Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and high-quality deliverables.
- Strong team player, proactive, and able to thrive in a high-performance, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proactive and high-energy approach, able to manage complex relationships and difficult conversations.
- Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and manage responsibilities autonomously, with flexibility in problem-solving and scheduling.
