  • Bachelors or Masters degree in design (e.g., graphic, product, interaction, visual communications), human-computer interaction, software engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Proven track record of shipping successful international software products or websites.

  • Experience working with prototyping tools such as Sketch, Axure or Adobe CS.

  • Experience designing for multiple device types and contexts (desktop, mobile, emails).

  • Experience conducting user research: interviews, focus group, usability testing sessions, card sorting exercises, etc.

  • Experience building/re-using a design system to define a common visual language.

What you can expect:

You will join a talented, multicultural and global team of radical technologists who deliver engagement software tools that help change the world.

Every single day, you will help Greenpeace staff from all corners of the Earth to embrace such technologies and grow their skills, but also to share requirements, ideas and creative approaches to use such products.

You will lead a global design team to deliver beautiful visual identities and web designs, and guidelines on how to use them. You will inspire the team to shape, plan and conduct user research and usability testing, and will use data to validate your assumptions. You will engage with communities of users around the world to make sure they join you in the wonderful journey of product design, while being constantly exposed to opportunities to lead, experiment, create, engage and even fail!

By evaluating needs and proposing solutions, you will grow into an inspiring, approachable and recognised technology professional within Greenpeace and be encouraged to develop both personally and professionally, taking advantage of the wide range of learning and development opportunities available to our staff.

Staff can also access our wellness initiatives, such as yoga and meditation and also have the opportunity to join our global Equity, Diversity & Inclusion staff communities.
