JOB DESCRIPTION

Empower is seeking a Growth Marketing Manager to deploy, measure, and optimize a multimillion advertising budget more efficiently for paid social and other digital channels. This hybrid role combines the deep analytical rigor of a Business Analyst with the strategic execution of a Media Buyer to drive measurable impact in our marketing efforts.

The ideal candidate excels at using data and analytics to solve complex problems and identify new opportunities that fuel business growth. They will collaborate across marketing, product, and design teams to develop agile solutions that maximize the value of our digital advertising campaigns. We welcome candidates with limited or no prior experience in digital marketing but possess an analytics-first mindset, technical aptitude, exceptional initiative, and a passion for learning and growing in the field.

Travel for company offsites is expected at a minimum of 2 times a year.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own and manage paid media campaigns across key platforms (e.g., Meta, Google, TikTok) to drive optimal performance and alignment with business goals.

  • Analyze campaign and channel-level marketing performance to uncover insights that inform strategic decision-making.

  • Design and execute A/B and multivariate tests to measure the effectiveness of new strategies, campaigns, and budget allocations.

  • Influence marketing budget allocation through data-driven recommendations and business intuition.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—Product, Marketing Analytics, and Design—to seamlessly align media buying strategies with broader business goals, driving meaningful and measurable outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • B.S. in engineering, business, finance, computer science, mathematics, or related field.

  • 3+ years of industry experience in data analytics, marketing analytics, or media buying.

  • Highly adaptable to new tools, platforms, and analytical methods.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a structured approach.

  • Ability to communicate complex topics effectively using frameworks.

  • Comfort working with cross-functional partners in marketing, tech, and business teams.

  • (Preferred) Hands-on experience managing paid campaigns on platforms like Meta, Google, and TikTok.

  • (Preferred) Experience in FinTech or banking with exposure to credit or marketing analytics.

  • (Preferred) Strong SQL abilities with high accuracy and attention to detail, experience with Python is a plus
