Summary of Role
As a Grant Builder at Instrumentl, you play a critical role in building up the comprehensiveness of our grants database. Your primary responsibility will be to enter grant data into our database while ensuring that all information is up-to-date and error-free. You will work closely with the Content Review team to ensure that our users have access to the most current funding opportunities for their work. This is a part-time position that requires a high level of attention to detail and a dedication to data accuracy.
You’ll report directly to Sarah, our Grant Building Supervisor. You'll also work closely with Amy, Karen, and Rachel, your fellow grant builders!

Instrumentl is fully distributed (read: no office!). For this position, we are looking for someone based in the continental US, but open to those flexible to Pacific, Central, or Eastern standard working hours as well.
What you'll get to do:
Data Entry: Enter grant information into our database accurately and efficiently.
Data Validation: Review and validate the accuracy of grant details, making necessary edits to ensure completeness and correctness.
Error Resolution: Work collaboratively with the Content Review team and Customer Success Team to address any discrepancies or errors in grant listings.
Quality Control: Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all data entry tasks.
Research: Conduct research to find and verify grant information, ensuring that our database remains comprehensive and up-to-date.
Communication: Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient data flow and provide regular updates on progress.
Adherence to Standards: Follow established procedures and guidelines for data entry and accuracy.

Preferences
Prior Experience: Proven experience working independently in a remote setting.
Grant Experience: Experience administering or applying for grants for nonprofit organizations.
SaaS Familiarity: Experience with SaaS platforms is a plus.
