Overview
Seeking Devops engineer for small elite IOT development team. Job description includes research, development, and support of a Kubernetes cluster for a project which serves tens of thousands of IoT devices and thousands of users.
Requirements
Strong knowledge and experience in
- Kubernetes
- Docker, Docker compose
- CI/CD
- Git Lab
- Grafana (or analog)
- NGINX
- Mail services setup and manage
- Scale services for MQTT, Mongo
DB, REDIS, etc - Certbot
- Portainer
Fields of liability
RnD
- design Kubernetes cluster architecture
- setup Kubernetes cluster for the system's services (backend)
- setup CI/CD pipeline for the services and Uis
- setup monitoring (and alert) system for the backend, visualization of the backend health (e.g. Grafana)
- automate scale and issue resolution for the backend.
- setup mail service(s)
- Ideally participate in the services RnD (Go, Node.
JS)
Monitoring&Support
- monitor the system's health and react on accidents
- monitor the system’s services resources consumption and act like a feedback for the services' developers (offer improvements)
- perform penetration tests for the system services
Documentation
- Good technical writing skills for description of the cluster and recipes for work with it (internal WIKI)
Experience
5+ years in Dev Ops for systems serves Io Ts
