Role: As a key member of the Istari Sales and Business Development team, you will be leading multiple capture efforts in the DoD market space, as well as developing new qualified leads and strategic campaigns for expansion. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Business Development, this ideal candidate will excel performing in a collaborative sales environment while embracing purposeful autonomy. 

Responsibilities: 
Generating new business in existing accounts, as well as playing a key role as you drive strategic, enterprise-wide initiatives
Driving new business, developing and executing a strategic account plan, and working with the broader team to grow revenue
Develop new sales: develop qualified customers, drive consistent growth of sales funnel, write proposals, conduct customer presentations, and support contract negotiations 
Selling skills: understand DoD buyers and buying influences, identification of key customer and buyer priorities, use Istari resources to overcome blockers
Use of sales software: document all accounts and customers with contact information and demographics, add all potential sales into opportunities, and update the forecast 

Desired Qualifications:
Hunters only - must be skilled in the development of new opportunities
Familiarity with Department of Defense customers - including how they interact with technology innovation vendors
3 years of proven, successful software sales experience or equivalent
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to analyze and evaluate account dynamics, develop a sales plan, and accurately forecast sales
Ability to work effectively independently and as a member of a team
Builds trusted relationships with a variety of essential customer and influencer constituencies to forge strong position in the market
Understanding of and ability to influence, communicate & position industry best practices and trends
Ability to relate current DoD issues and initiatives to Istari offerings
Ability to quickly develop expertise in the Istari product offerings, and maintain currency as the product and market evolves 
To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status
